To set up your Member Portal, you'll first need to update the Member Portal Settings shown below.

Here are some highlights.
Member Portal URL - This is the page of your website that your community members will go to to access the portal.
Member Portal Embed Code - You will need to get this code embedded in your website code. See Embed Portal Code.
Primary Theme Color - You can change the color of the Portal so it matches your brand colors.
The rest of the edits are copy and info that your community members will see and have access to on the portals. Below is an example of what a portal looks like when a member is logged in. This particular example comes from the Long Island City Partnership, so it shows their community's branding, colors and custom copy. (https://www.longislandcityqueens.com/memberportal/).

To share maps and documents with your community members, you can add and manage URL's for these in the Portal Settings section.

For maps, give your map a name and paste the URL link that you copied when creating the map with the Share Maps command in the Map environment. You can get more info on how to create a shared maps at the Share or embed your maps on your website guide. When done adding maps, click save.
For Data and Documents, you can add a URL the same way. URL's can come from anywhere you store these files, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, etc. Below is an example of what the Maps & Data section of a portal looks like for the Long Island City Partnership portal:

Once you're happy with the look and content of your Member Portal, it's time to invite your community members to set up their own log ins so they can all gain access. Head over to the next section to get started inviting your community members to the portal.
